History of THI Engineering & Construction Pte Ltd
The Company was founded in 2001 by Mr. Paul Tan. From a small business of providing small scale metal works with an initial staff strength of five site workers, the Company has grown over the years into a multi-disciplinary engineering and construction company involved in structural steelwork, steel mold and form-works, and all other metal works in mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
The business of the Company originated in 2001 by Mr. Tan Beng Wee. From a small business of providing small scale metal works with an initial staff strength of five site workers, the Company has grown over the years into a multi-disciplinary engineering and construction company involved in structural steelwork, structural stainless steel works and all other metal works which involve mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
Incorporated and aspire to be a local major fabricator and installer in the metal works and structural steel specialist in the building construction and civil engineering industry with company staffs less than 10. We started with Interim Upgrading Works (IUP) with Structural Steel Linkways, Drop Off Porch and other metal works.
Under the leadership of Mr. Paul Tan and as we grow, we manage with secured projects and work with Penta Ocean Construction Pte Ltd in Singapore Esplanade giving us a very strong head start and better equip ourselves to adapt to MMC main contractor requirement and quality control.
During this period of time, many transformation occurred. THI moved from AMK HDB industrial flatted factory to Kallang Way JTC standard factory with bigger fabrication yard. Better equip with the construction industry requirement and stronger team build up. We ae involve in projects such as Vivocity, Marina at Keppel Bay, Keppel Bay Bridge, Tampines Community Centre.
With pride and honor together with our clients, we work ourselves into commercial building, offshore island, civil tunneling, residential condominiums, schools and hospitals. Apart from structural steel and mild steel metal works. We explore and take up more complicated stainless steel, aluminum and glass as per client project requirements.
Having to move again to our current address at 14 Kian Teck Way Singapore 628737 with better facilities and bigger fabrication area to cater to our clients need. We able to take bigger project contract values. In 2019, our founder Mr. Paul have also decided to further expand THI business and invested in a 400,000 sq ft production facilities in Malaysia Johor.
